Trump, Netanyahu Talk Gaza Peace Plan

Meeting
After a White House meeting, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu agreed to President Trump’s Gaza peace deal, which still requires Hamas’ agreement.
Context
The meeting came after both leaders attended the United Nations General Assembly last week. Netanyahu delivered a defiant speech at the UN, declaring he would “finish the job” in Gaza as delegates walked out in protest. Palestinian representatives also addressed the assembly, calling for international intervention to end the conflict. Trump used the UN gathering to meet with Arab and Muslim-majority nation leaders and promise a peace proposal.
Peace Plan Discussion
Trump and Netanyahu spent an extended period on Monday discussing the details of a US-proposed 21-point plan that would immediately end Israeli military operations in Gaza and establish a path toward Palestinian governance.
